Juniata College to Highlight Martin Luther Thanks to Grant from German Embassy

Huntingdon, Pa. – Thanks to a grant from the German Embassy in Washington, D.C., Juniata College will be hosting a German Campus Week in honor of the 500th Anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. Activities range from a poster and art exhibition to presentations and a film screening. Most events are free and open to the public; only the photo contests and high school visit are not.
Executive in Residence to Spend Week at Juniata College

Huntingdon, Pa. -- George Meyer, vice president of operations at Irvine Company Office Properties in Irvine, Calif., will spend a week of residency at Juniata College from Monday, Oct. 16 through Friday, Oct. 20. His residency is part of the College’s annual Glaeser Executive in Residence program, which is facilitated by the Juniata College Department of Accounting, Business and Economics (ABE).
Juniata College to Present "She Kills Monsters"

Huntingdon, Pa. – The Juniata College theater department will soon present She Kills Monsters, a play which has been performed across the U.S. Performances start at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 19, 20 and 21 as well as Oct. 26, 27 and 28 in the Suzanne von Liebig Theater, Halbritter Center for Performing Arts. The event is open to the public and tickets range from free (for students) to $20.
Juniata College to Host Community Shredding Event

Huntingdon, Pa. – On Friday, Oct. 20, 2017, Juniata College will host a shredding event for local community members and members of the College’s campus community. Attendees can bring documents to be shredded between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Beeghly Library parking lot, which is located at the corner of 19th and Moore streets. The event is free and open to the public.

Wal-Mart heiress Alice Walton has formed Art Bridges, a foundation that will loan works to American art exhibitions and aid travel shows around the nation. The Juniata College Museum of Art will display a painting by Gilbert Stuart through the Art Bridges Foundation. Read the Article Here
